In November 2024, the Jiao research group welcomed two new members, Zhouyuan Wang and Mingliang Zhou, who are both undergraduates.

Zhouyuan Wang comes from Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Zhenhai High School in Zhejiang Province and won first prize in the Final of the Chinese Chemistry Olympiad. In 2021, he entered the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University, with his research interests mainly focused on free radical-based organic synthesis methodologies.

Mingliang Zhou comes from Wuhan City, Hubei Province. He graduated from the First Affiliated High School of Central China Normal University and also won first prize in the Final of the Chinese Chemistry Olympiad. In 2023, he entered the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University through the Plan for strengthening basic academic disciplines, with his research interests mainly directed towards polymer science.
